Suna Flores

The Author

Suna Flores is a granny in her eighties. She has been playing and working with humanity for a very long time, and she has loved it all. But she believes that it’s time for folks to read a good story about some of the people she has seen…and think about who they are…and why they are.

Suna thought she wanted to be an actress and a writer when she graduated from Michigan State University, but she decided to be a teacher, instead. Life is long, she thought. I can write and act later, right?

The Campaign

About the Book

Have you ever been to a big political rally? It usually takes place in a huge hall. There are posters and balloons and red-white and blue everywhere. Music is playing, flags are waving and crowds are gathering from all over! The enthusiasm is high. Wow! How did all that get there?

Loren and Jason are new to real life politics. Everything is exciting. It’s almost like magic.

But it isn’t magic. Something is happening under the surface… something sinister… something no one knows about… something evil. Personalities are changing but it all seems to be working so well. This campaign is going to be great!

But here is a question: Who is paying for all of the wonders of this campaign?

Here is another question: What do they want in exchange for their generosity?

How much of their souls do the candidates (and their supporters?) have to give up to get a high tone, fancy campaign paid for, and how many innocent people will be lied to… cheater… kidnapped… to assure a victory for the right person?

It’s time to find out what may be the unknown and very unpatriotic mysteries behind your candidate.

Mora’s Shoes

About the Book

Young adults are stuck with a difficult time in their lives. They’ve been deep-dipped in traditional rules and parental ideas of right and wrong. They’ve been told ‘what parents did when they were their age, and what will be expected of them as adults. All of that is very clear… but none of that matches what is going on today, does it? No.

But if you think you are having it tough with the out-of-date rules of past generations today, read here. There were no choices for women at all in the Middle Ages. There was no good path for a servant girl who loved horses more than people and dressed like a boy. Why? Because her family members were all servants. There was no way to go but to serve royalty where nobody bothered to know your name.

And what about the fancy princess in the castle? She had it better, right? She could do what she wanted, couldn’t she? Or was she only a decoration? Was she primarily a lovely bargaining chip that would have to marry a wealthy toad of a prince chosen by her father, the king? God help us!

Let’s face it. The young of both the rich and poor struggled against the bindings of traditional and prejudices in the Middle Ages… but so do we today.

This novel will show you that ingenuity thrives in the hearts of the young, even when they are trapped by the expectations of generations. Sometimes change wears a new face. Sometimes freedom’s call can only be heard through the howl of a storm. And what about pain? Is there always pain? Yes.

Pain or no pain, when facing challenges, decisions must be made. Dangerous chances must be taken by those who choose to travel their own path. Read on. Would you be willing to wear Mora’s Shoes?

The Call of the Auras

About the Book

The world is not a good place. It never has been. Since the beginning of time, Evil has stalked the earth causing misery to flourish. The forces of Evil have only one goal… more evil and control of the world. In the Middle Ages, the forces of Evil had a name. They were known as “The Auras”. As invisible influencers, The Auras had the ability to quietly attach themselves to humans who exhibited potential for greed or cruelty… prejudice, or power. Auras could then develop these humans into their own, personal weapons. Through the power gained by these humans, The Auras knew they could rule the earth. This was the exact plan for The Auras of both River Kingdom and the Kingdom of Urhonordo. Because they existed on opposite sides of The Great River, the two kingdoms became targets of a focused assault of The Auras. Unscrupulous humans whose desire for power showed promise were scheduled to receive advanced training and encouragement toward violence, no matter who was hurt in the process. The Aura’s potential to rule both kingdoms with Evil now grew, and neither kingdom suspected they were in danger. Read here to find out if the good people of these kingdoms remain oblivious to the Auras that are quietly taking control of their world. Will they continue to live their lives normally with no idea they are under siege? Their Consciences must sense the increasing evil that surrounds them, but can Consciences help when the power of The Auras has become so strong that their control is inevitable? Have ‘good people’ waited too long?

“The Call of the Auras” is the sixth in a series of novels which focus on the existence and importance of living, human Consciences, a concept that few believe to be true. Look around you. Maybe it’s time to think about it.

Castle, Crown & Conscience

About the Book

“If you think the world is crazy now, you should have been around in the Middle Ages”, says author Flores.

This time-travel novel transports its reader to the political intrigue of kings and queens which amazingly reflects the news of today. People in power want to keep it. People without power want to get it. The struggle for this power enhances such conniving greed and kingdom-wide evil that good people of the time cannot seem to catch a break. Sound familiar?

It should. ‘Castle Crown’ is a shameless reflection of today’s world as it would have existed in Medieval times, complete with sly and unscrupulous business people, butt-kissing sycophants…and good people trying to live honest lives in the middle of that.

And who is the undisputed leader of all this nastiness? The arrogant, undisciplined egotist who sees himself as King and has no understanding of the lawful function of the role. Imagine that!

When trickery and greed replace truthfulness and fairness, what happens to a kingdom? When cunning and impulse replace leadership and thoughtfulness, what happens to peace?

You know what happens, don’t you? You know what to expect. You see it all around you, today. It that is true, where do Conscience fit in or is war inevitable? Read on… Here is where caste, crowns, and Consciences collide.
